Mushrooms (Cantharellus ??)

Larose Forest

A pretty colour and interesting shape. The top of the mushrooms were quite chewed up by slugs so the underside showing the gills was more attractive.

A nice shot of this beautiful mushroom. I recognize it but I don't know mushrooms very well. It does look like a chanterelle.

Otherwise known as chanterelles? Ummmmm....these are delicious, but can easily be confused with Jack-O-Lantern mushrooms which you shouldn't eat! Found this that tells about the difference: https://www.mushroom-appreciation.com/chanterelle-mushrooms.html We were introduced to Pfifferlinge (same) when we went mushrooming with friends in Germany. good thing they knew what they were doing.

the rim of the cap certainly undulates pleasingly...the yellow at the base of the stipe is interesting, perhaps veil remants..

Far from being an expert but it looks like a chanterelle to me.
