There are now two hummingbirds visiting the garden. This one spent a few seconds prodding the yellow clothesline with his bill, before giving up (not a flower after all!) and perching on it for a few seconds. I was sitting on the steps not far away and got one shot. It is a real delight to see these swift-flying, tiny, beautiful birds, and I never tire of it. In addition to the feeder, they also investigate the various flowers and were even nectaring on the tall stalks of flowers arising from the Coleus plants.
