Red elderberry (Sambucus racemosa)

Fletcher Wildlife Garden

I'm sorting through thousands of unedited photos from over the last few years, and came across this elderberry, taken the 21st of April(2015). Today is the 21st of December, and as the red elderberry is one of the first native shrubs to begin forming flower buds in spring, I thought I'd post this to say, only four more months until we see some new growth!!
