Parasitic wasp (Leucospis affinis), female

Checking out the leafcutter bee nests. This small wasp is interesting in that the female, shown here, holds her ovipositor over her back. You can just see the long black line running along the back. A very efficient method it seems to me, rather than having it extended behind her as with so many wasps.
