Gray treefrog (Hyla versicolor)

Larose Forest

This little frog was sitting on a fern leaf. The young treefrogs, as well as toads, are heading out of the ponds and into the upland areas where they spend most of their lives.

He looks like he's hunched down, trying to hide - but his camouflage isn't quite good enough to escape your keen eye! A wonderful image.
