Shaggy scarlet cup fungus (Microstoma floccosum)

Reveler Conservation Area

This tiny mushroom was abundant. It was fruiting on twigs and i brought one small twig back to the car to dry it out. An hour later, the shaggy white fringe was very visible. I think this is a lovely little thing.
