Bee Balm (Monarda)

Fletcher Wildlife Garden

This beautiful scarlet plant attracts numerous insects, flies, beetles, butterflies... There are many cultivated versions of the native Monarda, and not sure if this is Monarda didyma which is native to the northeastern US, or a cultivated (garden) variety.
