Black bear

Parc Omega

I wish I could say that this was taken in the wild, but it was not. It was at Parc Omega,a couple os years ago, where the animals have a certain degree of freedom and natural habitat to roam around in, while the visitors must remain in their cars. The bears, for example, have enough natural habitat that they can hide from view, climb trees, make winter dens, etc. But still... it is not truly wild. Still, it is not often people get a chance to view one of these beautiful creatures so close, and at least they are not in a cage!!

Fine looking bear and image! I see what looks like water drops on the back legs, perhaps fresh from a fishing trip?

That must have been exciting to see, and you've captured him well. V.
