Mushrooms (Asterophora lycoperdoides)

Conroy Pit

These little white mushrooms are parasitic on other mushrooms, mostly Russula species. Interestingly, the spores are produced on the caps of the mushrooms. YOu can see the decaying host mushroom on which these fresh white ones are growing.
