An old abandoned rail line winds through some beautiful country west of Perth. Last year when I walked along here, this wetland was full of water, but the summer's drought has depleted the water greatly.On the other side of the trail, what was a flourishing wetland last year with many turtles on logs and frogs in the water, is now dry as dust.
