Four-spotted sap-feeding beetle (Glischrochilus quadrisignatus)

Orleans

A small beetle often called Picnic Beetles. Bug Guide says: attracted by the odour of fermenting fruits and vegetables; fly into beer or soft drinks. A very pretty little creature, this one came around while a meal was in progress in the garden.

An interesting guy. I like the stripes on his body and the tips of his antenna. V
