European pine sawflies (Neodiprion sertifer)

These are just hatched pine sawflies. You can see where they have emerged from the pine needles (the yellowish blotches) where the eggs were laid. The female would have emerged from a cocoon like the one in the next photo, and laid her eggs in the needles. It is easy to see how tiny these sawflies are compared to the short slender pine needle. In time, they will become much, much larger.
