These were all clustered on a goldenrod leaf, so you can imagine how small each critter is. The spiky ones are the nymphs, and the two pale ones are newly emerged adults. They will soon turn brown, the pale colour is temporary, indicating the treehopper has just changed (transformed) from nymph to adult.
