Summertime and the living is easy... though not apparently for these guys. This poor beetle looks like he is barely hanging on, and I must say, looks quite startled by it all!
Nice detail and close-up capture, Christine. Startled is not the impression I get (and I'll use the better part of discretion but not expanding upon that). ;-)
