Planthopper, Derbid (Otiocerus woflii)

Reveler Conservation Area

This planthopper, like the similar but red-coloured one I also posted recently, belongs to the Derbidae family. This is a mostly tropical family of planthoppers, with only a few this far north. This one is also an unusual shape and with rather exotic patterns.

I would never have guessed this as a planthopper. Interesting.
