Snail (Cepaea nemoralis)

The shiny yellow shell attracted me, as did the way the snail was sitting. When I touched the shell, the head was immediately retracted.

It's a very pretty color. I'm used to plain looking snails. One thing I love about snails that you've captured so well here is the natural Fibonacci shape. V.
