Camouflaged looper (Synchlora aerata), #7058

Larose Forest. I put this little caterpillar on my finger to try for a better photo, but it is still difficult to see any details, it is so covered with bits of vegetation. They do this for protection while feeding, and apparently will renew the vegetation bits every so often. As an adult this is a gorgeous green moth called the Wavy-lined Emerald.
