Northern spring azure butterfly (Celastrina lucia)

Burnt Lands Provincial Park. At last, one of the many spring azures we saw while walking through the park, landed and opened its wings for longer than a nano-second. These tiny butterflies almost vanish when they land and close their wings because the brilliant blue is hidden.
