Sac fungus (Sarcosypha)

Mer Bleue Conservation Area. A very large scarlet sac fungus, fruiting on a twig along with about half a dozen others, mostly hidden under leaves. I only saw this because it was partly exposed and was vivid against the dead leaves.

We have here a simalar kind of sarcosypha sp. which is very rare. I managed to find it twice.
