Longhorn beetle (Trigonarthris sp.)

Found on goutweed in Rockcliffe Park. I was very excited when I saw this beetle fly in, because it looked so brightly yellow, and I was convinced it was one I'd not seen before. But when I got home and looked at the few photos I took, it appears that it is a common Trigonarthris beetle, but so pollen-covered it looks golden.

That coat of pollen does give it a golden coat. Beautiful. V.
