Not a very good shot, but I was so thrilled to see two bald eagles together that I thought I'd post. Sadly, a point and shoot does not do well for capturing images like this where the birds are flying high. Anyway, this really made my day, as bald eagles are fairly rare here, though certainly more common than a decade ago. This was taken in Rockcliffe Park close to the Ottawa River, where these birds were heading. The blue sky and sun made up for the -20 weather (colder with the windchill).
