We were hiking deep in the woods and had stopped to rest for a short while when Sasha suddenly stared into the woods with an intense expression. I wondered what she saw, a moose, a deer, a bear... but whatever it was, if anything, I never found out!

It's amazing the keen senses dogs and other animals have that leave us wondering what it is they are experiencing. Maybe it was a ghost! Those woods could have been haunted.
