Hackberry fruit (Celtis)

The Dominion Arboretum in Ottawa has a number of hackberry trees from various parts of the world, including examples of our native Hackberry, Celtis occidentalis (incidentally, quite rare in the Ottawa area). This is the fruit of one of the exotic ones.
