I was wandering along a trail in the heart of Larose Forest yesterday, when it went by a wetland with a few wild iris blooming. Stopping to look at a Hobomok skipper on the iris I then noticed lots of these tiny fat fellows (and gals). The odd colour comes from photographing this insect right down at the base of the iris.
