Black Chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa)

A common native shrub found primarily in wetlands and damp areas, in sun to partial shade. A long row of these shrubs all in full flower, is quite a sight. This was photographed in Larose Forest. An ant is exploring the flowers.

Great information and illustration of this chokeberry.
The ant adds a size reference to the flowers. Well-done. V.
