I miss my girl

This was taken a year ago, almost to the day. Tasha has been gone now almost two months and not a day goes by that I don't miss her. Dogs wind their way into our hearts and never let go. And when they die it is as if part of us is torn out.

a tender loving tribute portrait, Christine. Her loss is not easy to bear. Even for those of us who only knew her from afar. Such a beautiful & faithful companion. 'V~

This is such a beautiful picture you took of Tasha. I feel like I could reach in and touch her cold, wet nose. Even though time goes by we never stop missing our faithful friends who loved us unconditionally. You gave Tasha a wonderful home and took great care of her. Thanks for sharing this lovely image.

She was so beautiful. Yes, they take a piece of our heart and soul when they leave. But we will get it back when we meet again. This is a wonderful portrait of her.

Time will take away the pain, and then you'll have nothing but fond memories! She was so lucky to have a good mom and you were lucky to have such a good and faithful companion!!

Of course, she is missed. Pain endures, sad to say. But joy can too...in memories.

It's amazing how an animal works its way so deeply into our lives - to truly be human one must have owned a dog.
