Grass and heat waves

This Haiku by Basho seemed to fit this photo taken at Petrie Island. The haiku is from a fabulous book called "Haiku, An anthology of Japanese Poems", by Stephen Addiss, Fumiko Yamamoto, and Akira Yamamoto.
