This beautiful male teal has been in the pond at the Fletcher Wildlife Garden for weeks. When I first saw him he was still in moult, but over the weeks his fresh new plumage has gradually been growing in and now it is lovely and fresh and bright.

Sorry for the delay in posting to the challenge, but we moved house and had major problems getting phone connection and hence internet connection, since we still use the rather antiquated dial-up
