Fox and Canada geese

It was early spring, with the snow still on the ground, and this hungry fox had been eyeing the Canada geese for a long time. The geese had only recently returned to the area from the south, and the fox was probably thinking what a meal he'd have if only he could capture one. The geese are clearly unconcerned. Not a good photo, but the subject was interesting!

It is cools seeing him prowling around and the geeses reaction or lack thereof.

It's a great shot, Christine! To be able to get a predator and potential prey in one view is amazing. Way to go!

The stuff of legend, in fact. How I envy this capture.
