This sculpture -- along with with several dozen other pieces featuring musicians and their instruments -- were on exhibit for sale in Mamilla in the heart of Jerusalem.
Mamilla is a modern, open-air shopping mall reminiscent of the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, except that the architecture is first-hand Middle Eastern, versus third-hand (by way of Seville Spain and the American Southwest) on the Plaza.
