Wat Phumin is an important temple in Nan province - Thailand. The most important and the only one of its kind in Thailand is the ordination hall of the jaturamuk style ( Four gates on the main directions), its four faced principal and the huge railings of the naga. In the middle of the temple is seated 4 huge Buddhas of Maravijaya, facing each direction. The temple´s unique mural painting is for 4 aspects - jataka (story of Lord Buddha), folk story, and the way of life of the Nan people in the past.
