The Passion.jpg

I had a good cry tonight. What am I saying good cry? I was sobbing. At one point I had to leave the theater. I had to catch my breath. I couldn't breathe. And I needed more tissues. My eyes are red and puffy tonight, and I feel emotionally drained, but nothing like a good cry to liberate you.

I had mixed feelings as well, but I'm glad I saw it. I'm still reflecting on it tonight. I don't think I could sit through it again. The film touches on the relationship between Mary and Jesus. I think what got me the most was seeing the pain on his mother 's face as she was seeing her son suffer. Great cinematography and the music, oh the music!!

A friend called me Tuesday to see if I wanted to go. I got busy at worked and called her back too late. She went to see it at about the same time you did, only on Tuesday. I've read lots of reviews and opinion pieces on it, but don't know whether I'll get around to seeing it...mixed feeling and thoughts on it.

This movie gave one California lady a heart attack last week. I think we're going to see it this weekend.
