I like this idea. It looks like the camera may have tilted up a bit to cause a bit of out of focus on the top two leaves, but the bottom two are sharp. Find that tripod plate. I use mine almost every time I shoot in the house/"studio." Like tonight. Yesterday I got away with out it.
I have a tripod, a great one at that. BOgen 3030, but I lost the plate that attaches to the camera. Well I don't think I lost it, I might have misplaced it when I moved this summer. I refuse to buy it on line, I'd end up paying more for shipping and delivery than for the piece. I am going to B&H on Monday during lunch to buy it.
Lara: maybe 1/60 second was a tad too slow for your steadiness and maybe the quality has suffered because its a section of the photo enlarged too much. Have you got one of those small 'table-top' tripods - over there I imagine they only cost about $30.
Ray, the photo looked better in my mind than it does as a photo. I wanted it to look crispier with more details. I should have taken more. could be this way cos I cropped to much of the photo frame to just get the few leaves?
