the boys

Bear and Poe, brothers. Rescued dogs of uncertain lineage found in a dumpster on Daniel Island, tied together by their tails. They live with Patty and me now. Poe (black and tan) is a nervous hypervigilant soul and Bear (black and fluffy) is just the opposite.

Looks like you rescued a pair of good looking boys. Poe looks a little like an Australian Shepherd mix and Bear looks like a Golden cross. Kudos to you for taking in these guys. I'll bet they will give you many years of fun and laughter. Nice gallery showing their first year with you.

A big WOOF! WOOF! to the doggies from Barnum and the late Ms. Bailey Bentwhiskers, the pugs. How fortunate these dogs are, to be adopted by a loving family... They are beautiful!

I love the happy ending in the lives of Poe & Bear. We also have adopted a shelter "mutt" and she has enriched our own lives more than words can say. Your guys are so-o-o-o handsome. Must be the doggie genes.
