Ostensibly impromptu in nature, this photo was actually conceived and executed as a homage to Ansel Adams and in honor of his somewhat similar photo "Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico, 1941". Careful metering of the moon, the marsh, the boat and the bra resulted in the desired exposure. Although in color rather than the original's black and white presentation, the similarities are striking.
