I have been longing to add a ESS to our lives. We live in Beverly Hills Florida on a 1 acre lot in an equestrian neighborhood.(horse just across the street). In my earlier years, I owned Maggie an ESS who was a totally loveable pup. She lasted 12 years and despite being blind and deaf was still a blessing to own. Now...almost 20 years later, I am ready to see if I can find another ESS to keep us company. I am 70 and my wife is 62. I have had dogs (all kinds) most of my life and I do miss the love a good dog can give.

David and Faye,
"Doc" had his first vet visit today. It just wore him out :).
Everyone said that he is going to be a BIG boy.
The Vet taught us how to clean his ears properly (a must).
He is so smart! Fetching, housetraining, table manners...all training is
going great.
He has a basket of toys...it is so funny to watch him go "pick" one out and
bring it to me.
Then he'll go get another. Finally he'll just drag the whole basket over.
We are such proud new parents!

Thank you so much for raising such fabulous puppies! Clyde is very happily living in Tucker, GA. David and Faye have a great facility and wonderful dogs - we couldn't have found a better addition to our family.

We just lost one of our springers in August of this year. We actually adopted our other springer from a family in georgia who got her from you. She is wonderful and has brought so much love to us. I wondering if you still had any puppies left or on the way.

David, I hope that this is where you wanted me to write.... My husband, Daughter and I will be heading your way on Monday, November 1. We are looking at getting 1, possibly 2, females from your recent litter. I used to raise Springers and love the breed. I'll bring the info on my dogs when I come. It is very interesting. Thanks for your help...

We lost our girl springer at 17 1/2 years old. Rescued from ESRA and our little boy springer, Freddie, also rescued from ESRA is sad and lonmely. We are looking for a new sister for him and are thinking about a puppy. We live in Moore, SC.

We picked-up our puppy born in November 2009, Dixie, two weeks ago. As David said, "She is full of personality". Dixie is enjoying her new home and parents. I found David & Faye's website by surfing for a springer spaniel breeder in Georgia. David & Faye are caring & professional. They kept us updated on the delivery, pictures and phone calls as the puppie progressed. Our veternarian was impressed by the typed records with the chip number for reference. Totally recommend Lanewood Kennels.

David and Faye, I need to tell you, your boy's a winner (son of Brodee and Queen), Bentley (16 weeks old) won 1st place in his weight class (11-30 lbs) in the PetSmart Howloween costume contest and he won 3rd place in the overall contest (over 100 dogs of all ages). The boy is making money already. He was a "Mickey Pirate", pictures coming. He was in puppy class and was so smart, we had to move him to beginner's class after only two sessions. We'll send you an update when he graduates. Bye for now!

David and Faye, An update on Lady Marjorie of the Lanes, Marjie. We took Marjie home with us Jan. 1, 2007.She is the daughter of Zeke and Lacie. She is the most wonderful springer ever. She is enjoying life and the best of health. She will be 3 this November. We took in a wonderful 6 year old female lab mix and they are the best of friends. I cannot say enough about the wonderful job you all do with your springers. My ultimate dream: 50 acres and about 5 more just like her! An I'd get them from you! Susan Fuerniss

Hello,
My name is Todd, my mother recently pick up one of y'alls puppies for me.
I wanted to drop y'all a note and tell you how much I love my dog.
I named her Dixie, and everyone who meets her loves her right away. I can't
blame them... she is behaving wonderfully. She gets to spend almost every day with
me. I caretake a 2000 arce Land Trust in the mts. of North Carolina. The property
is loaded with Grouse, which I plan to train Dixie to hunt.
