June 2013: Roadtrip, Chicago to Moab

After five days in Chicago, we said farewell to Uncle Eric & Aunt Emmy (on her birthday) and headed west on I-90. After camping one night each in Minnesota (Blue Mounds), South Dakota (Custer), Wyoming (Glendo Lake), and Colorado (Grand Junction), we finally made it to Moab, Utah for the final stop on our big trip. This was our first time across the northern plains, and it was quite an adventure despite numerous stops at well-trodden tourist sites.
