Lupins beside Lake Pukaki - New Zealand.
Lake Pukaki is a glacier lake which is why it is the spectacular blue colour.
The colour is produced by shist ground to a superfine powder by the glacier - so fine it remains suspended.
It does not matter how many times I see it, I am still gobsmacked! So beautiul, but wrong!
Just amazing!
