Canola Storm

Australia

Canola crop near Keith close to the Victoria South Australia Border.
I had just driven through 15 minutes of solid hail. I was heading toward the black clouds in front and wondering if the weather was going to be like this all the way home. I had not seen the sun all day and it looked like I was not going to. Then out of nowhere came a small hole in the cloud which lit the canola paddock. Wild light! I chucked a U turn, grabbed my camera and tripod. I had maybe 90 seconds of light - enough to get Tripod setup, image framed, hand held light meter read and 4 images (1 Roll). Serendipity! The result is what you see. I didnt see the sun for the rest of the day!

Chance favours the prepared mind. Well done to capture this. Voted.
