Hi Lance
I have come back for a second and longer look at your land and sea-scapes using the DA14mm lens and Cokin filters! What a super portfolio you have for all lenses not just the 14. I think I see clearly now what you do with a very wide angle shoot...get low, focus on an anchoring object up close and let the depth of field look after the rest! Neat! Many thanks again mate
Best regards
Leo

Can't believe you haven't made it to the USA yet. The Grand Canyon awaits you.
By the way, enough already with that hideous opera house.

Lance, some of your pics defy description or adulation. I first came to appreciate your work and advice on the dpreview site and make a point to catch as much of your postings as possible. Thanks I've learned a lot from your unselfish sharing.

Nice shots!
Read your post re: 5D vs. 6x7. Very interesting. Mag not available in NZ. Am trying to locate a copy through a friend in Australia. What month is the issue please?
Best,
Charlie

I live in a small village of Catlett,Virginia, USA About 160 of us.
Catlett is not to far From The Shenandoah National Park where me and my camera spend a lot of time
Am new to posting stuff ...hope to have some pictures up and running soon
By the way I was in your part of the world in 1950 teaching some of your fly boys to low level tach work in a P-51 Mustang....Had total ball

Lance-
I like how you make your artistic statement using the local surroundings including your family and significant events. I am moving from a Nikon P/S to a Pentax DS within days.

If you are inclined I would very much appreciate a venture to Maroubra or Coogee beaches for a round of photos. Smaller beaches than Bondi, but great cliff walks that might provide some fascinating angles/ views.

As I can't back there as often as I'd like the request is somewhat selfish. I live 60km from Boston.
