This is the official residence of the Governor-General. Ordinary citizens have very little choice in how to
photograph the place. There is one little lookout, approached by stone steps from a thoughtfully-provided
car park, with neat plantings and explanatory signs. Try to photograph it from anywhere else, and you run into
chainwire fencing and stern warnings. My previous picture, from the same spot 12 years ago, had a kangaroo:
