This pond is in the Castlereagh Nature Reserve, beside the busy Windsor-Penrith road. It has no
significant catchment area but even in drought times, there is water here. It is small enough to
walk right round in five minutes, so is probably too small to have a name; but it is big enough
to have an island in it and to support a lot of little creatures; I have seen tortoises here.
