Note the Christmas touches – in July! This is in preparation for Yulefest or
"Christmas in July", which is celebrated at some Blue Mountains resorts (and
by some eccentrics elsewhere) as a way of enjoying the Northern Hemisphere cold-
weather traditions of Christmas. It often snows in Katoomba in winter. But there
will still be another Christmas, complete with winter-costumed Santa, in summer.
