Boat heading upstream

Hawkesbury River near Ebenezer view map

Note the navigation marker. In the early days of white settlement, the river was used
to transport food from the Windsor area all the way downstream to Broken Bay, then
down the coast to "Sydney Town". Nowadays, the river is often noisy with water skiers.
