Rivendell, formerly the Thomas Walker Convalescent Hospital, was built in the 1890s, with
a boat house (right-hand corner of my picture) for patients arriving by ferry from Sydney.
I was surprised to see brief glimpses of it, from about here, in the film "The Great Gatsby."
