Buttons of eaten missionaries

Lomolomo Village, Fiji view map

Something like the threepences we used to find in Christmas puddings. The Fijians
who ate missionaries in the 19th century didn't quite understand buttons, and saved
them in case they turned out to have some special significance. Here some saved-up
buttons have been made into a decorative trophy hung on the wall of the church.
