North Seymour Island

The first photographs here were taken within a few seconds with the camera on "burst". They show a parent blue-footed booby returning to feed a chick (about as big as the parent), the chick feeding by thrusting its beak down the parent bird's throat, then the two birds showing alarm at the approach of a male frigate bird which attempted to steal the meal; I could not tell whether he was successful, but the last image in the series shows the boobies in retreat, the frigate bird looking smug.
