Our first time on the Bass Strait ferry. Long wait in the car getting on and off, regardless of when you turn up. Ship comfortable, food good, cinema if you want it, or music. We paid extra for a cabin with a porthole, but there's nothing to see on the way. Careful with the door to your bathroom: the steam from your shower will set off the smoke alarm and a security man will come knocking on your door.
