This is the companion to an earlier image of the Sheldon Parish Church ruins - built 1747 , burned by the British in 1778, rebuilt and burned again by Sherman's troops in the Civil War, c. 1865.

despite the church's travails it seems relatively intact, and echoes Stonehenge in design...superior and very fascinating image..
