My first Biketoberfest at Daytona Beach! Weather was great, and the company was even better! Started off the week by going to a "Pre-Biketoberfest Party" a few miles from home. It was sponsored by my good friends at Bartow Motorsports. There was live music, a burnout pit, 't-back pulls' and bike competitions...the usual motorcycle-gathering stuff!

On monday, I made the trip to Daytona with Rocky and Jason (SCRC-SouthLake). We made the rounds down Main St, Beech St, etc....not too much going on this early in the week, but it was fun! Main St was in full swing and we even got curb-side parking.

Friday, I rode back over to Daytona with SouthLake SCRC, but I split off when we hit the speedway. I met my brother Bob and his group from Tallahassee, Georgia and Lousianna. We spent time at Froggie's and the Boothill Saloon to name a couple, as well as taking in all the sights. Spent the night at my brothers hotel room (Thanks Bob!) and saturday morning I headed to the Sunshine Mall for a VTX gathering and to visit all the metric vendors. While I was there I picked up the new Kury highway mounts that I've had my eye on....and even installed them in the parking lot! Being able to stretch out my legs, it was a very comfy ride home!
